Concept
Perezzzoso is a sleep tracker and smart alarm app designed to help users better understand their sleep habits while connecting them to global sleep data. The app allows users to compare their rest patterns with friends, national averages, and worldwide audiences; blending personal wellness with collective insight.
The name derives from the Spanish word perezoso (sloth), with a few extra sleepy “Z’s” to evoke sleep and playfulness. The brand was designed to feel calming, friendly, and globally connected while maintaining clarity within a health-focused digital product.

Sketch
Early exploration focused on stylizing key features of a sloth’s face while simplifying the form into a recognizable, scalable app icon. I experimented with various color combinations and visual softness before committing to a monochromatic blue palette to reinforce calmness and nighttime association.
Wireframes and layout studies helped determine how information would be organized within the app, ensuring clarity while maintaining a soothing, uncluttered interface.
Design
After finalizing the app icon, I developed a cohesive user interface that balances data visibility with simplicity. The system organizes core features; smart alarm, meditation, sleep tracking, recording, and social comparison, into intuitive subsections that prioritize usability and accessibility.
The smart alarm tracks sleep cycles to wake users during light sleep, while meditation sounds and recording features support better rest. The social comparison component reinforces the brand’s global dimension by visualizing sleep averages across friends and worldwide audiences.
The interface maintains visual consistency through use of color, rounded forms, and clear information hierarchy, ensuring the experience feels supportive rather than overwhelming.
The overall identity captures:
Tranquility
Clarity
Connectivity
Functionality
