Concept
Perezzzoso is sleep tracker and smart alarm app that engages the consumer with global audiences so they can see how their sleep compares to others around the world. Along with this, Perezzzoso also teachers the user about their sleep habits. The app not only has a smart alarm that tracks sleep cycles and knows when to wake the user up (during light sleep), but it also has meditation noises to fall asleep to, tracks how long you sleep, and a voice recorder, any of which can be toggled on or off.
Perezzzoso comes from the Spanish word for “sloth” (perezoso) with a few extra sleepy “Z’s” This brand was meant to evoke a calmness with a global reach

I played around with the main features of a sloth’s face, while also stylizing in my own hand. I was also experimenting with color combinations. I ended up going with a monochromatic blue color palette to evoke calmness within a bedtime routine. I was also figuring out the actual layout of the app.
