Coop Studios is a creative studio specializing in photography and graphic design. The brand needed to communicate versatility, innovation, and a limitless approach to visual storytelling.

The primary objective was to create a mark that unified both disciplines under one cohesive identity while emphasizing the studio’s commitment to boundless creativity. The visual direction focused on fluidity, movement, and expansion: qualities that reflect both artistic exploration and technical expertise.

Sketch

Initial exploration centered on abstract forms that could symbolize infinity, motion, and light. I experimented with geometric structures, overlapping shapes, and camera-inspired elements to represent the studio’s foundation in photography.

Through iteration, I refined four distinct logo concepts that explored different balances between symbolism and minimalism. Each direction tested how the ideas of expansion and creative flow could be visually expressed without becoming overly literal.

Design

The final identity synthesizes elements from the four initial concepts into a single cohesive mark. An implied infinity symbol forms the structural foundation of the logo, representing endless creativity and adaptability. A subtle camera flash detail is integrated within the form, grounding the concept in photography while maintaining abstraction.

The result is a sleek, modern logo that balances minimalism with meaning. Clean lines and controlled negative space allow the mark to feel refined and professional while still expressing movement and energy.
